Accidental Fraudster Vs Predator Fraudster:
A brief difference between the two fraudsters.
In both cases they may be prosecuted under civil or criminal Law of the Land.
ACCIDENTAL FRAUDSTER is one who perpetrates a fraud based on the fraud triangle-Opportunity -Pressure -Rationalization aspects. He is generally a good person,honest and also works with the organisation for quit a long time.He or
PREDATOR FRAUDSTER is one who perpetrates a fraud with a predetermined and planned way and who is not under pressures or need of money but only Greed for money.He is generally not a first time offender but has a history of frauds.He is nefarious in nature and is also cunning and always looks for loopholes to cheat at the first opportunity.
The Fraud Triangle explains the characteristics of a Accidental Fraudster-It consist of Opportunity-Pressures and Rationalisation.
However the Triangle is modified to define a Predator fraudster.It consists of mainly Opportunity as the fraudster is not after money or has any pressures but mostly "greedy" and looks for opportunity and loopholes to commit a predetermined and preplanned fraud.
